Hi guys
I've had a chat with the WRSU officer today about the DC Thomas Cup. This year sees the 50th anniversary of the cup and we'd love to see it coming back to Llwchwr! This is a traditional competition that is played for by all U11 schoolboy teams across Wales, with the final being played at none other than the world-famous Principality Stadium.
There is also the Morgan Griffiths Plate and the Lawrence Miller Bowl; so there's plenty to play for. We are hoping that the finals for both the Bowl and Plate will also be played at the Principality Stadium too.
The date for the final has been pencilled in for the week commencing the 25th April. So keep that week free as the coaches and I have every intention of travelling to Cardiff with you to compete in the final. With a lot of hard work and some more of the determination that we've already seen, there is no reason why we shouldn't expect to go all the way.
The draw for the cup is happening tonight and the first round will start on the week commencing 29th Jan or 5th Feb. I will post the draw as soon as I have it.
See you all in training later....
